18x24 Oil Painting Portrait

PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE INQUIRING. CLIENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR READING TERMS.

Oil paint has a slower drying process. Please allow 7-8 weeks to complete the portrait, this does not include shipping time. 

Pricing for 18x24 Canvas: 

Waist/Shoulder up:

$1500 base price for single person portrait

$2000 for two person portrait 

$700 per additional individuals 

Terms

15 percent of the final price is required as a deposit to reserve a commission slot. This is solely to reserve a slot, no work related to the portrait will be started at this state. Deposit is non refundable. 

50 percent of the final price is required to begin the portrait process. This process includes brainstorming, initial portrait sketches, as well as the full completion of the painting. Deposit becomes non refundable once portrait is started. 

Remainder of the payment is required once the portrait is complete, before it is shipped. No refunds are accepted on commissions. 

Payment Plan Options:

50 percent of the final price is required to begin a portrait, this is non-negotiable. 

The Remaining 50 percent of payment can be paid by 6 weekly payments or 3 bi-weekly payments. Full payment is due before the portrait is shipped. Shipping within the US is included in the price.

If for any reason, the remainder of payment is not provided on an agreed date with no communication or notice, an additional $40 late fee will be added to the final payment. No portrait will be shipped until both the remainder payment and late fee is paid. This term is non-negotiable. Even when notice is given, if delayed payment exceeds one week after the initial agreed payment date, the late fee will apply. 

If there is no clear communication from client and payment is missed for 2 consecutive payment deadlines without notice, it will be assumed the client is no longer interested in their portrait and the commission agreement will be terminated. The artist is not obligated to send a portrait after this timeframe. Any payments made prior to this will become no-refuandle. 

These terms are non-negotiable. Clients are expected to have clear communication with artist. 

What's included in the price? 

18x24 Canvas 

Standard prices include a single color background. 

No major changes are accepted once portrait references have been agreed upon and portrait has been started. ex: Changing reference photos.

Free shipping in the US. 

Reference photo requirement:

Clear image where facial features are clearly defined, this will allow for a more accurate portrait.

Can be multiple references when more than one person is included in the portrait. Different reference images can be put together into one image. 

No filters used in the image.

Preferably in color (if portrait is in color).
